L.B. Shallcross, Attorney at Law, is a general legal practice with a special interest in equine law. The firm has expanded to assist the growing needs of the Bulverde and Spring Branch communities in the Texas Hill Country.
Mr. Shallcross was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1975. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Claims, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Southern and Western Districts of Texas. He is a graduate of The American University (BA), and Louisiana State University (JD), and he is a former Lecturer in Equine Law at the University of Texas Law School.
Equine lawyer Mr. Shallcross is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Louisiana State Bar Association, Bexar County Bar and Comal County Bar Associations. He serves on the Board of the American Association of Horsemanship Safety, Inc. He is a member of the United States Equine Federation Safety Committee and of the American College of Equine Law Practitioners and is a legal advisor and subject-matter expert. He served as chairman of the International Committee of the San Antonio Livestock Exhibition.
